Chances are you’ve read The On-Purpose Person, used ONPURPOSE.me to find your 2-word purpose statement, and participated in an On-Purpose Peace small group. You’re ready for that next level of depth for being identified with Christ and aligned with God’s will, aka being on-purpose.
This collection of articles is akin to a great hike. At times, these words and thoughts will cause struggle and strain as you climb to spiritual vistas. Expect stretches of steady plodding through various ideas and perspectives. Step carefully downhill and check your spiritual footing. Anticipate open fields where you step into familiar scripture that’s perhaps experienced with a refreshing point of view.
Like all great hikes, The On-Purpose Path rewards you with a vibrant and meaningful sense of connecting to who you are and who God is. Taking pleasure in God’s creation and Word always has that effect.
Ultimately, you’re walking a personal relationship path that only you can tread. Your path has likely had twists and turns. That’s not so with the On-Purpose Path — the walk given to us by the Creator. Proverbs 3:5–6 tells us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Regardless of whether you walk straight, crooked, zigzag, uphill or downhill or sidehill, or in any direction, God’s path doesn’t depend on you. His is a spiritual walk; and ours is physical and spiritual.
